First off we will state that the human consciousness is not capable of nor was it designed to function in a “spiritual” mode at its base level of survival. Survival is the state at which a human enters the arena of three dimensional existence being unenlightened without any sophistication of consciousness. The lowest attributes of survival are greed and bullying to take what is wanted from others. Without exception everyone is born into that survival state, too many remain there while some even enhance it. To move past this survival point requires the accumulation of understanding on a spiritual level allowing the human to work with the Creator acquiring an ever increasingly functional connection as we become more benevolent. Be it known here the human consciousness cannot do spiritual tasks without that increased connection to the Creator and it can only work to the degree at which understanding has been gained to support it. “No one knows what they haven’t learned yet” so this isn’t as easy as many believe, there’s so much which isn’t known.
Once again, the human consciousness cannot do spiritual tasks working on its own even if the human thinks they can. We must connect with the Creator at a greater sophistication to achieve those. There are no exceptions to this.
The following are primary limiting attributes in which the human consciousness is drawn away from growth and gaining the higher functionality of sophistication;
Balance
Balance is an important factor in stability. This is where we are kept from swinging to and fro being pulled around by the emotions of the moment. Being caught in a surge of an emotional response inhibits our clear perception. While balanced clear perception is uninhibited by the daily events of three dimensional existence granting stability and understanding. From a stable point of balance we remain neutral and focused being capable of seeing greater truth learned from the Creator with less involvement from the native human state of misperception.
Drama
Drama can be centered around many different emotions although a common factor is the fixation upon the triggering event. Spinning in the vortex created by drama increases its fixation making it more challenging to escape. Before anyone can escape they are called to see what’s happening and understand the way out is to STOP. Then remember to resist spinning again, it’s an emotional trap. Drama is anti-spiritual, it draws the consciousness away from balanced stability into a swamp of lesser emotional responses.
Ego
Ego is a strange thing, tolerable when it’s small but if over fed it becomes a beast capable of taking control. Ego is most often used to compensate for a diminished sense of self-worth. The Ego will then inflate that undersized self-worth until it becomes greatly overrated without substance to support it. Ego works in direct opposed to truth building a false illusion of self-worth thus standing squarely in the way of being spiritually connected. On a spiritual level in its extreme Ego will create a fantasy world where great things are being accomplished when in all actuality it’s an illusion totally lacking any substance.
Fear
This one is so involved it requires too much space, look for Inhibitors of Spiritual Ability part II which will be devoted solely to Fear.
Doubt
Lastly we’ll add self-doubt to be considered. If we doubt our own ability we’ll make it a greater challenge to achieve results. This could be seen as a low self-worth without the Ego being enacted to artificially inflate it. Confidence is good knowing when we’ve learned and have the understanding we need, we’ll achieve our goals. Too much confidence could move toward Ego seducing us away from our connection.
In conclusion, it has been suggested by some that if we were less focused in our three dimensional world we would then be more focused in our spiritual world. That seems logical in human terms and some have tried just that. The results are just the opposite of what was intended. Without a solid connection to our three dimensional existence we lose stability and focus preventing forward movement toward greater sophistication of consciousness. Being centered and balanced grants us greater stability to be focused. With that we are capable of entering into cooperative ventures with the Creator. Without a balanced stability we’re as scattered as a house of cards on a windy day.
